"Love is All Around" Penny Rug Tutorial

With Valentines only a month away...I thought I would repost this tutorial for all of you who LOVE Penny Rugs like I do!  They are so very simple to make, and if you have never tried your hand at one...maybe this will inspire you to do so!  Hope you enjoy!

  7. I love this penny rug...thought they were much harder to make so thanks so much for sharing. What is the easiest way to scallop the edges??? Maybe trace out a pattern first??? I think I will try one soon...

  10. Great tutorial. I have hearts on the brain today too. And I have to say the picture in your heading is absolutely beautiful. I would love a room like that in my home. Looks so cozy and almost like it is straight from the past.

I scrolled down through many of your past entries and I'm very impressed with your florals, especially the ingenious containers you come up with do your floral creations. You might be my kindred spirit, you enjoy collecting almost all of the same things I own and display. Your kitchen is beautiful, I also have the same set up with the microwave over the range and the hardware you chose for your cabinets.
