Here are a few Photos so far from around my Homestead. Still have lots of "tweeking" to do. But, I have got some things up and unpacked!
I know I have said this...but this is my FAVORITE curbside find and now my Pewter cabinet!
Closeup view of just some of my Pewter. You will eventually see some other pieces scattered thru out my homestead.
Kitchen view. This is looking in from my new Diningroom.
I have lots of counter space now..and I love it! But, I do like them to look clean and uncluttered, so I tend to organize things in various wooden boxes.
I love my new double bowl, extra deep, oil rubbed bronze sink! Complete with an oil rubbed bronze spigot. Also, one of my favorite chandeliers in my home!

The view from my kitchen window.
I love old Utensils
Display above my Frig. The painted pieces are from Raggedy Jan.
An old cabinet makeover, this now sits ontop my kitchen counter.
I love Bonnets! Notice my rough textured walls?! I love them! They hide every imperfection there is!
My Dining Room! This is the view from my kitchen. This once was the first floor bedroom! We took down the wall to open up the first floor and made this the new dining room!
The sliding doors here were once just the bedroom window! We will be adding a large deck to our swimming pool here in the Summer, so this will be great access for all the "Grilling" out there!
I didn't get it in this photo...but right next to my dry sink area is another doorway we added! It ables us to go right into our living room area from the Dining room. It was a solid wall too!
I just love textiles!
I also love old cheese boxes and paper mache boxes!
Scrub board display I have in my first floor 1/2 bath.
One of my favorite floral filled baskets!
I love to fill old glass jars with goodies!
I have mice! Yep, the only kind I like though...the STUFFED kind!
Homespun Rag Balls I did one night while working nite shift!
I love this Primitive Church!
Well, that's all for now. Hoping to get a few more things unpacked and placed around the home soon!

Wow, you have such a beautifully decorated home, Char. You're inspiring me to get better organized and slowly turn my home into a prim beauty like you have!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Char! I love it all! I found an old ladder at an antique store in a different state this past year and kicking myself for not buying it. I have looked everywhere since and can't find one now. I want a textile ladder in my dining room area like yours for vintage linens and aprons. But I will never give up the hunt... that's all the fun, right?
ReplyDeletehow extremely beautiful your home is! Tons of hard work, has paid off!
