We had groundbreaking today on our house! Yippee! I just posted pictures over on my homestead blog...you can find the link on the right side column if you wanna check them out!
I am so excited for you. I told Enoch that I was thinking about coming, but I was in line at Aldis and Walmart FOREVER!!! I can't believe how many people were out shopping for groceries today. Sorry I missed it. Will it be in the paper?
Great to hear that things are finally getting off the ground. I so enjoy and look forward to reading your blog everyday. There is not a day that goes by that I don't check it out. Stacy
Is there really such a thing?! I mean I know there is...but, how "original" is most of our creations?! A stovetop cover, a noodle or scrub board, a sampler stitchery, a primitive recipe,etc...I am certain these are not ANY of OUR "original" creations! Haven't our Forefathers made these before?! Wasn't these items the basics of thier lifestyle? Isn't that why we enjoy "Primitive" design? To try and recreate things of the past?! So, everything here in my blog is for you to...USE AT YOUR FREE WILL! I am just asking for you to NOT make patterns from my patterns and sell them, please! We live in a world where no one wants to give away anything anymore! For goodness sakes, what have we become?! I mean if we don't see the cash-in-hand we can't just offer it someone for FREE?! So, that is my purpose with this blog! Have fun, make money from finished projects if you choose, but DO NOT make a pattern from what you got here and sell it!!! I offered it to your for FREE, so let's not sell it to someone else!

Good Luck and have fun revamping your house. My house was in worse shape. We have been here almost 17 years and had fun making it a home!
