No Scissors Allowed!
If you are heading to see family this holiday Season via airplane, and wanting to take along some of your stitcheries to work on during the plane ride...Well, leave them scissors behind cuz you can't take them on the plane! So, what you to do now?!
Grab your dental floss!!! You are allowed to carry your dental floss onto the plane! So, empty out the floss and now you have an instant storage compartment and handy thread cutter! This will cut your thread just like it does your Dental Floss!

That is a great tip Char.

I don't have a trip planned but thank you for the tip! I will be sure to remember this one.
ReplyDeleteSMART! Never thought of that! Thank

What a simple solution! I would never have thought of that. I don't plan on any flights, but could use this around the house also as I have toddlers visit often and scissors are something I have to remind myself to put away.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this heads up remedy.
Linda
Hey, that's great ! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip, Char ~ but you can also take fingernail clippers as long as you remove the file from the middle.

ReplyDeletegreat idea...they also make a pretty pendant charm you can wear that works the same way!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I would have NEVER thought of that. You are so so smart girlie!
ReplyDeleteGreat tip! You know everyone out in blogland is luvin' you right now.
Such a great idea! I'm thankful that our sewing needles are allowed. The handsewing really helps to pass the time on those loooooong flights.

Seriously? Needles are allowed? I get so tired of reading or trying to watch the movie (screens usually too close and earpieces hurt!) and I can't sleep so I would love to be able to do some hand-sewing! Is this on all flights or just US? I'm going to Mexico in Feb and flying out of Detroit.. but also fly out of Toronto at times and may be going to UK.. thanks for anyone who can confirm this!
ReplyDeleteNow your thinking!!!!!!Great idea!!!xoxo~Kathy @ Sweet Up-North Mornings...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Laura
Super idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try this next time I have to sit at the Dr. office. & I want to bring some sewing along to pass the time. The least you have to carry the better.
