Cocoa in a Jar
Supplies:
*Mason Jars
*6 1/2 c. powdered sugar
*1 (5 oz.) pkg. of NON-INSTANT chocolate pudding
*1 c. powdered chocolate drink mix
*1/2 c. powdered non-dairy creamer
*1/2 c. sugar
*1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
***OPTIONAL: BROKEN CANDY CANES OR MINI MARSHMALLOW
Directions:
First, let me just tell you...this will fill several Mason Jars! I like to give these in either small Jelly Jars or Pint Sized Mason Jars. They still give quite a few servings with each jar!
This is a very easy recipe! All you need to do is take a large bowl and mix all of the above ingredients together. For the Optional Ingredients (candy canes & marshmallows) you can either put them into a plastic baggie and place ontop of all the Cocoa mix, or do like I do and mix it right into your ingredients! I do break my candy canes up into small peices (maybe 1/2" in size).
Now, just take and place Cocoa mix in your jars. Attach a tag with instructions: Dissolve 1/3 cup of Cocoa Mix in One Cup of boiling Water. Enjoy!

That sounds SOOOOOO good! I'll have to try it and thanks for sharing:)
Hey Char, I have one similar if not the same that I use every year as gifts...I add big chocolate chips to it...oh boy is it yummy..:)
OMG this sounds so yummy for the tummy!
I was blog hopping and stumbled on your blog today. I just love it. You have helped me with this recipe, it will be nice to give to a couple of co-workers with mugs for the holiday, without breaking the bank. Plus I can also give to the kids for the grandkids. I think these mason jars would fit in a wine bag, they are so beautiful these days and it would be a quick and easy wrap. Tie a little scoop onto the tassle.
Please pop over and say hi. I would so love to have you visit. I would be honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well.
Country hugs sweetie, Sherry
I am so going to do this for our neighbors this year!! Thanks. Julie
I just Love all your inspiration! Thanks! Twyla
We make this every year to give as gifts, but we do use the instant pudding. I will buy those cute winter coffee cups from the Family Dollar and put them in baskets with a jar of this mix and a bag of miniature marshmellows.
