Thursday's "Tip of the Day!"

This is a tip that I use EVERY time I am stitching my Wool Penny Rugs!

Stitchin' A Wool Penny Rug?!

If you love to use Wool and stitch your own Penny Rugs, then you know how tedious it can be to Pin all the designs to your Penny Rug! Well, next time in place of your Straight Pins use a GLUE STICK! Yep, just take and dab some of the gluestick onto your design backs, stick them to your Penny Rug Mat and just stitch them right from there!!!

You will find that you will no longer want to use your straight pins for stitchin your designs to your Wool Penny Rugs again!

  1. Hi! Yes, I have always used glue from the start of making my penny rugs....tried the pins once and that was enough! :0) Can't tell you how many glue sticks I have gone through over the past couple of years making my penny rugs though! Love your blog!
