Amish Peanut Butter Spread
Ingredients:
*2 cups brown sugar
*1 cup water
*1 tsp. maple extract
*2 cups peanut butter
*1 (16 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
Directions:
In saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, and maple extract; bring to a boil. Blend peanut butter and marchmallow creme. Then blend both mixtures together until smooth. Serve as a spread on bread or crackers.

Oh wow does this sound rich but yummy!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip about the musty books - I have a couple of old ones that are just beautiful, but when you sit near the table they're stacked on you get a little whiff of "old". I'll be trying your tip on them this weekend.

Yum! We eat peanut butter spread at our favorite Amish restaurant. Hopefully this will taste the same. My grandkids love it!
