"Feast On!" Friday

Here is a great Summertime treat for fluffy, yummy sandwiches or crackers that all the kids will love to snack on! I found this recipe in my "Amish Friends Cookbook". Hope you enjoy!

Amish Peanut Butter Spread

Ingredients:

*2 cups brown sugar

*1 cup water

*1 tsp. maple extract

*2 cups peanut butter

*1 (16 oz.) jar marshmallow creme

Directions:

In saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, and maple extract; bring to a boil. Blend peanut butter and marchmallow creme. Then blend both mixtures together until smooth. Serve as a spread on bread or crackers.

Thanks for the tip about the musty books - I have a couple of old ones that are just beautiful, but when you sit near the table they're stacked on you get a little whiff of "old". I'll be trying your tip on them this weekend.
Thanks for sharing both of these!!
